Domestic Violence and Privacy

domestic violence victims often have much of their personal information -- including their 

relationship history -- in government records. Turning to government aid agencies, litigating 

custody, divorces and protection orders creates a trail of their private lives in government 

records. They ask to keep there personal lie in private and not have the government take in 

record what they do every sec of the their lives. I can go both ways in this issue, do to the fact 

that they have lost there trust in the government do to whatever they did but at the same time

everybody needs privacy.

Privacy and the 2008 Olympic Summer Games

During the Olympic games China hotels had set up  spying camera around the hotels. Do to the

 fact that's is legal in the country they ask for Americans to lower there standers about there 

privacy policy. Even though its a different, that's a terrible rule to have. 

The Right to Financial Privacy Act

 "John Doe" summonses to obtain records of credit card transactions. The IRS, attempting to

 track down tax evaders' hidden assets offshore, went to court seeking access to credit card 

records held by more than 40 hotels, airlines and car-rental companies. 

Instagram

They are able to use information that we post to other companies and use our information. They are entitle to our username, password and e-mail address when you register for an Instagram account. Other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service, consistent with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Facebook

"Facebook is a free service supported primarily by advertising. We will not share your information with advertisers without your consent. We allow advertisers to select characteristics of users they want to show their advertisements to and we use the information users share with us to serve those advertisements." Facebook is not responsible for any privacy issue, they did establish a privacy setting in which the user can change the settings at anytime.

They collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you create an account, use the Services to send or receive messages, including photos or videos taken via our Services ("Snaps”) and content sent via the chat screen ("Chats"), request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your username, password, email address, phone number, age and any other information you choose to provide.
